How can we measure greatness? Counting Grand Slam numbers, titles and victories? Trophies and awards numbers? Maybe. But not only. Because there are things that numbers cannot convey. From the beginning, the appearance of the Swiss Maestro on the most prestigious tennis courts has been caracterized by the beauty he managed and he still continues to instill in this sport, match after match. Today it is clear to everyone how his grace and elegance, on field and in life, make him one of the most beloved athletes of all time. His career is full of successes, but any number can’t ever express the scope of his legend or the breadth of his legacy. Because his greatness cannot be measured.

Come si misura la grandezza? Contando il numero di titoli e vittorie del Grand Slam? Il numero di trofei e riconoscimenti? Forse. Ma non solo. Perché vi sono cose che, semplicemente, i numeri non possono trasmettere. Fin dall’inizio, l’apparizione del Maestro elvetico sui campi da tennis più prestigiosi è stata definita dalla bellezza che è riuscito e continua a infondere in questo sport, partita dopo partita. Oggi è chiaro a tutti come la sua grazia ed eleganza, sul campo e nella vita, lo abbiano reso uno degli atleti più amati di tutti i tempi. La sua carriera è ricca di successi, ma nessun numero potrà mai esprimere la portata della sua leggenda o l’ampiezza del suo retaggio. Perché la sua è una grandezza che non si può misurare.
